The company "Sabzgostran Mazar’ Giti", which is based in the science and technology park of Islamic Azad University, Najafabad Branch (IAUN) has produced organic fertilizers in line with its goal of developing and supporting green agriculture.

Erfan Hosseini Beheshti, the managing director of the Iranian knowledge-based company, told ANA that his company was established in 2012 with developing green agriculture on its agenda.

“Over the past years, focusing on research and development of new technologies, we launched several projects in the field of agriculture. The products and services of this company have made great contribution to improvement in the use of land and the performance of farmers,” he told ANA.

“Using organic materials and natural supplements in the production of products shows the attention of this company to the environment and the restoration of the soil ecosystem as well as the health of consumers,” he said, adding, “Employing advanced methods to optimize the production process of agricultural products has saved the life of living and useful organisms in the soil.”

He noted that living organisms are destroyed in the soil if farmers use chemicals.

Beheshti went on to say that the organic fertilizer improves the quality of agricultural products, and protects the environment against desertification.

"The product produced by this company is based on biotechnology knowledge and is completely organic, which makes the product fed by the company's fertilizers a completely organic and high-quality product," the managing director of the "Sabzgostran Mazar’ Giti" said.

"Another difference between this product and chemical equivalents is that it starts the treatment from the soil and then from the plant, so that after a while after use, as long as the soil is still rich in elements, there is no need to reapply," Beheshti said.

He predicted that the company would face no problem in the field of commercialization of its organic fertilizer.
